The Shop Apron is a great accessory for any craftsperson.
(and a perfect Christmas gift)
specially popular with woodworkers, but be it a blacksmith or a shoemaker, many trades appreciate it,s protection and many pockets! For this course we prepared a Pattern, that will fit the 10th to 90th percentile on the shop bell curve, meaning average size +/-.
What to bring: your curiosity, and it would be helpful to bring along a strong pair of scissors.
Equipment: We’ll be using industrial straight stitch sewing machines, the CoLab also will supply black and white thread, pattern, cutting table, fabric punches, iron/ironing table, etc
Materials: Materials can be purchased at the course for $30, ( includes heavy natural coloured canvas, Nylon straps copper rivets and grommets )
It is open to participants to bring your own material, or supplying some other material for ‘pockets’ and or ties/straps…

Cost: Course fee is $50 + materials $30, for a grad total of $80 you get a awesome shop apron!
