Colab Code of Conduct:
I agree that I have read and understood the colab code of conduct. I agree to abide by the code of conduct values when at the space and understand that violations of the colab's zero-tolerance policies may result in termination of my membership.

Liability Waiver:
I, the undersigned, hereby acknowledge that I fully understand that woodworking, welding, and related activities can be dangerous and may require strenuous physical exertion. The areas where woodworking, welding, and related activities are conducted contain many known and unknown hazards. I acknowledge and understand that my participation in any woodworking and related activities could result in my exposure to serious personal injury, illness, disability, or death. I also acknowledge that property losses can occur. I understand that Vancouver Community Laboratory Society (CoLab) has guidelines for safe work practice. I agree to follow these, and maintain the highest level of safe work practices for myself and others.
I acknowledge that I am 18 years of age or older. Also, I hereby for myself, my heirs, executors, administrators, successors and assigns, release and forever discharge CoLab, its members, its directors, and any other person or organization assisting it, from any and all actions, causes of actions, claims and demands for, upon or by reason of any damage, loss or injury to person and property which heretofore has been or hereafter may be sustained in consequence of any accident occurring during a CoLab activity.
Covid Waiver:
To reduce the potential risk of COVID-19 transmission, Colab require that all visitors follow the guidelines outlined below to protect everyone’s health and safety while visiting the Space:
- please do not visit if you are feeling unwell or have otherwise been advised to quarantine
- complete our check-in form upon arrival
- provide proof of vaccination if asked
- comply with the mandatory mask mandate as per Provincial Health Officer (PHO) orders
- use hand sanitization stations provided throughout the building
- maintain physical distancing from others outside of your group as best as you can
Colab's health and safety protocols follow the latest health and safety measures as outlined by government agencies, and may change to reflect the most recent PHO orders and updates, including proof of vaccination requirements.
I and on behalf of my party acknowledge that an inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any place where people are present and agree to follow the set guidelines. By visiting the CoLab, I and any of my guests voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19 and agree not to hold the Vancouver Community Laboratory, its affiliates, directors, employees and any other person or organization assisting it liable for any illness, injury or death.
